Megaloceros Mossback...
Species: Megaloceros Mossback
Alternate name: Mossback
Habitat: Dense, damp forests of the Pacific Northwest. Can be found living in burrows made in dense patches of moss.
Description: The Mossback is primarily nocturnal, but is especially active at dusk and dawn. The Mossback moves across the forest floor quickly and almost silently. The Mossback feeds on many kinds of plants, but is primarily nourished through photosynthesis while sleeping through the day. While the Mossback appears to be a mammal, it also has many plant-like characteristics that make it hard to categorize. It is unclear how many are in existence today because the Mossback is a very shy and private creature that is rarely seen by the human eye.
