Luke Chueh's "Beginnings / Endings (And Other Worthless Epiphanies)" bears all the stylistic stamps Chueh's fans have come to love.
Corpo Gallery is going to be hosting this awesome event, and it is going to include tons of new work from Chueh including some stylistic paintings not seen before, as well as the protagonist bear/bunny character that we are very familiar with! Employing minimal color schemes, simple animal characters, and a seemingly endless suite of ill-fated situations, Chueh balances cute with brute, perched on the fine line between comic and tragic. Come on out to Corpo on Saturday May 8th, 2010 from 8pm-11pm for the opening reception, and no worries if you can't make the opening because this show will be up until May 29!
