ROBOTARS designer toy custom show 4/16/2010

Robotars by Jomike Tejido just sent us a poster updating the status of the upcoming "Robotars Custom show" that is going down at Art Asia Gallery, 4/F SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, Manila, Philippines on April 16 and will run until May 15 2010! This show is going to feature customs from over 30 artists ranging from professional toy customizers, illustrators of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang InK), painters, graphic designers, and graffiti artists shall break the conventions of high-brow art and unleash Manila urban art... and on an important note a percent of the proceeds of the show shall benefit Haribon Foundation’s rainforestation fund.

The packed show also has:

• The launch of the full version of the Robotars game,
• A wall doodle design contest, where the winner shall receive 1 blank Robotar figure, on which he/she shall execute the design. It shall be part of the 2nd Robotars Custom show in the 2010 Toy Convention in June! Anyone can walk in on the opening night and design one of the blank Robotars front view, and will have limited slots only. Multi-color markers will be provided. So pls come early!
