French artist Teimaru's "The Guardian" & "The Abyssus" Koibito customs
Teimaru, a French customizer, and a good one at that just sent over some very cool pictures of his two latest customs. These 2 Koibitos titled "The Guardian" (right) , and "The Abyssus" (left) are very well put together customs, and I love how it almost seems like this is how they came out of the box, they seem like production pieces IMHO! I asked Teimaru how he comes up with his customs, and what his process is, and this is what he had to say: "First, I put the Koibito's on my desk, and look at them for a long time, traveling in my mind, searching for what these toys "tells me", inspire me, and how i'll transfer that into the custom i'll create.... In the case of the Koibitos, it told me about a Warrior, sacred, tribal way." Teimaru uses acrylic paint, rope, jute, and some other miscellaneous things to put the finishing touches on each custom! If you would like to see more picture please visit his Flickr HERE... and keep on the lookout for a custom Dunny "Addicted" series coming out soon from Teimaru!
