Japan's own Pico Pico... a trip to the studio!
Luke Rook from Lulubell Toy Bodega had the distinguished opportunity when he was over in Japan to be invited to the studio of PICO PICO. Luke says that "I find myself at a serious loss for words. You're just going to have to look for yourself. I will say that this dude is the real deal. A deep well of wicked and wild imagination. There is little he doesn't do, from full size kaiju suits, acrylic painting, puppets, soft vinyl, resin and drawing. PICO PICO draws influence from 80's cartoons to Basil Wolverton to Yokai and Ultraman and a crazy amalgamation of each creature in between. Everything is rendered in the only way it could, fanatical and amazing." Luke took a TON of pictures of all of Pico Pico's projects and I have complied them in a slide show... so be sure to CLICK THROUGH to view them all, also Pico Pico also has been creating a monster a day as a project, so be sure to go to his site HERE to check out all the awesome stuff, oh and there is also mention of a few "Cat Fighter" up for pre-sale over at Lulubell's right now, so don't sleep on those!
