You like Cephalopods... well Squid Kids Ink has got you covered with some rad DIY resin!
Nate Mitchell of Squid Kids Ink has made a creative outlet that he hopes to turn into something that can one day support his family, but so far it's a nights and weekend start-up company that is lookin for an audience. Currently the group consists of Nate and his ladyfriend Linda Hong, as well as designer Chito Arellano, who has been a big part of the whole process by helping out with a lot of graphics work. Nate has done all of the sculpting with Jay Garcia of Mana Studios doing most of the final polishing and all of their molding and casting.
Squibs is their 1st brand, with Squibs and the Squib Kid being their first DIY resin figures. Squibs run about $15-20 and the Squib Kids go for $30. There are also some keychain/zipper pulls for $7, not to mention some mini Squibs with stamps on the bottom, ink not included, as well as some new secret projects yet to be revealed, but I guarantee you that they will rock!
Keep an eye out for SKI as they invade Wonder Con at booth #1349, also check out their website HERE, and for very frequent updates hit up their blog HERE. These guys really have something going for them so help support a start up company with some really cool products.
