Daniel Goffin's "Netzwerk" resin toy: Brent Sparr
Daniel Goffin just passed on some photos of a recent custom of a really cool resin toy he did for a good friend and collector. It has been painted with colorshifting metallic automotive paint and also features a little tribute (the net pattern/texture) to one of his favorite toy customizers Paul Kaiju. The character here, one out of four, is called Brent Sparr - the director of the NYC MOMA (40 years in the future) who is an obsessive collector of antique robot parts. His goal, not the greatest collection of robotic machinery but instead to get rid of his imperfect human body by replacing it with machinery. This is a super dynamic piece of work , and I absolutely love the form, it reminds me of a cross between Jack Skeleton and the figure "Skulskin" by Ajee... very abstract in nature, great job Daniel!
