What to ask for on your wedding day...
... well did you think about it? So did freelance toy journalist, and frequent SpankyStokes.com guest writer Jeremy Brautman, and he came up with some awesome ideas! First off he talked to the boys over at 2PetalRose, and asked for one rad custom Graff kings with glasses and for the wall to reflect their names and the location of the wedding. Jeremy says "to use an expression the kids are saying these days, they "killed" it, I mean seriously." As you can tell from the photos above they really did, and I can see why Jeremy has a blatant man crush on 2PR because of the job that they did :-) It looks so freaking awesome.
The next one Jeremy posted about this artist on this site about a month ago HERE, and needless to say he was blown away when he first layed eyes on the custom wedding cake topper he received from Mike Leavitt. Jeremy has been a fan of his Art Army for a while, and he says "I have no idea why he isn't more famous. He does so many things and is a really interesting and talented DIY kind of guy." This customized caketopper was created in the spirit of the Art Army, and was done up as Edward Gorey characters. If you have met Jeremy you know how crazy the resemblance is... that REALLY looks like him. Mike got the hair, the nose and the raised eyebrow, and he even added a little Burgerman doodle on his jacket. Jeremy says about his soon to be wife "Greta looks fantastic. He even got her tattoos (which I believe she is using foundation to cover up from her 97 year old Grandma on Saturday)" hahaha, oldschool grandmas are the best.
What a lucky guy to have these awesome creations done for such a memorable day in his life. Congrats to both Jeremy and Greta on this special occasion and in the words of Jeremy "Kyle Nelson, I know you are jealous of my Graff King, but I also know that deep down you are happy for me."
