Customized Celebrity Wedding Cake Toppers by Mike Leavitt

It's no secret, I'm a big fan of Mike Leavitt and his original Art Army idea, which turns the tables on our favorite artists by creating art toys of the designers themselves. Tomorrow night at the m modern gallery, one of Mike's (many) other ventures steps out from the Army's shadow slathered in icing and decked out in tiers. This series of custom wedding cake toppers focuses on "real love," and under that umbrella falls: gay couples, alternative icons, celebrities with mashed-up names and America's favorite teacher-student relationship.
