*ON SITE* Gardens of Misfortune • Art show featuring the work of Ryniak and Bergeron

The opening for this amazing event was last night, Wednesday, July 29th 2009 from 6 to 9pm, and thanks to Frenchie of Montrealvinyl.com w have these amazing picture from this event! Galerie Yves Laroche proudly presents Gardens of Misfortune, a collection of work by American artist Chris Ryniak and Montreal native Jonathan Bergeron (Johnny Crap). Portrayed in a series of paintings and drawings is Ryniak and Bergeron’s unique vision; a netherworld of unearthly creatures emerging from misfortunate places. This show looks amazing and both artist work really compliments eachother's style!

Frenchie says that the toy, err art piece is amazing, and is priced at around $160! There were also and 4 prints available at the show, 2 by Jonathan and 2 by Chris, prices are between $100 and $200. I am sure these will be up online soon at the Galerie Yves Laroche website, so keep an eye open for those.
