"Reloading!"

Do you like zombie movies? Do you like cliche characters with tongue in cheek humor from horror films? Do you dig pretty much anything the boys over at VALVe bust out? If you answered "YES" to any of those questions, than I pretty much guarantee you'll love Left 4 Dead.


Left 4 Dead is easily one of my most favorite games of 2008. VALVe is a fantastic game studio in it's own right, sprinkle a little zombie into their equation too and you got one Hell of a ride. What's more fun that going on XBOX LIVE with some friends and blasting zombies into a bloddy mess? I can't think of anything. Left 4 Dead was released last November for the XBOX 360 and the PC. I know, I know, a little late on the post, huh? Well, since this indie title has reached critical acclaim I kinda figured you all would already know what it is. So, no need to post something to simply inform you of its existence.

SpankyStokes.com in its essence is a toy blog. I try to spice it up a bit ever so often with some random nuggets of funny, videogames, tech/geek and or art (Thanks John for the opportunity.) :) So, in this post I have the pleasure of bringing you guys a tasty concoction many flavors. Left 4 Dead is awesome. We have established that. Know what else is awesome though? User "Global 420"'s custom toys he created to pay respect to the awesomeness that is Left 4 Dead on the SideshowCollectors.com forums.

Global 420's mind spawned two of the 4 survivors in the game (Bill and Louis) and some pretty cool zombies too! Go check 'em out!!

P.S. Also, buying Left 4 Dead for your XBOX 360 or PC is a no-brainer. (Zombie pun intended.) :P Start off the New Year right, go get some zombie killing action!
