"Against the Grain" - Alpha Cult

Once again Alpha Cult is pulling out all the stop for their upcoming art show titled "Against the Grain" on Saturday October 11th up in Long Beach CA. This is going to be a really cool show where the focus is art on wood!

Artists have been painting on just about anything a person can think of...but of all the trends to rise lately, the use of wood as a canvas has grown tremendously in popularity. As fans of this medium ourselves, we thought we'd share our interest with everyone and put together an entire show made up of this medium!

This show features works by: Asia, Brandon Francis, Clinton Neuhaus, Courtney Oquist, Downtimer, Ego, Gus Fink, Jason Youth, Jeff Claassen, Jerrell Conner, Jonathan Bueno, Josh Taylor, Julie Lee, Kim Hutchins, Lesley Reppeteaux, Mike Bilz, Phoneticontrol, and Prince of Cake.

All are welcome to join us for the Opening Reception THIS SATURDAY NIGHT (Oct. 11) from 7-11 pm. Complimentary drinks and refreshments will be served, along with musical entertainment provided by guest DJs JM & Delicious!

I wish I could make it up there for this show, but I don;t think i will be able to make it, so I have to once again live vicariously through all of you peeps that live in the LA area to stop by and let me know how it is! There are alot of great artists lined up for this, so I am sure it is going to be great!
