PAPER CUTS - L.Croskey and Rebecca Hahn
Chango is proud to present an exhibition of work created by L. Croskey and Rebecca Hahn. This exciting show will be on display the entire month of September with an opening reception on Saturday, September 6th from 7-10pm. On the same night as the reception, the monthly Echo Park Block Party will be rockin’ as the businesses and galleries on the same block as Chango will also be putting on fun events!
L. Croskey is a well rounded artistic human being. He is well known for his monthly event, Cannibal Flower and also has his hands in a few other galleries throughout town. You will also find him around town DJ-ing some of the hippest events and parties in Los Angeles. In this exhibition, Croskey will be showing a handful of colorful mixed media works.
Rebecca's work is a careful balance of hand picked elements including found papers, wood, painting and sewing to name a few. At the heart of each piece, strong women are portrayed protecting, cleansing, or watching over the viewer and mankind. Each piece is created with a deeply personal story in mind while on the surface paralleling global messages exist that each viewer can connect with.
The walls will be full of life at Chango as these two artist’s work
hang side by side.
