THE 4th ANNUAL BLAB! SHOW

Copro/Nason Gallery proudly presents “THE BLAB! SHOW,” the fourth Group Annual Art Exhibition featuring original paintings and illustrations from the forthcoming issue of BLAB! magazine--the premiere anthology of art, illustration, found graphics, and sequential art.

This year's show also feature's Ryan Hehska's "The Obit Paintings," an exhibit of work from his forthcoming BLAB! book. In addition, there's an exhibit of BLAB! artist Tom Huck's gigantic wood block prints.

Artists include: SHAG, TRAVIS LOUIE, RYAN HESHKA, GARY BASEMAN, RON ENGLISH, LUKE CHEUH, GARY TAXALI, FRED STONEHOUSE, ANDY KEHOE, TRAVIS LAMPE, MARK BURCKHARDT, CJ PYLE, MARK TODD, TOM HUCK, and MANY MORE.

BLAB! is the brainchild of Chicago-based art director and designer Monte Beauchamp, whose work has appeared in GRAPHIS, PRINT, COMMUNICATION ARTS, AMERICAN ILLUSTRATION, and THE SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS. He has received numerous design awards for Excellence in Print and Television Communications. His books include: STRIKING IMAGES: Vintage Matchbook Cover Art (Chronicle), THE DEVIL IN DESIGN (Fantagraphics), THE LIFE & TIMES OF R. CRUMB (St. Martin’s Press), NEW & USED BLAB! (Chronicle), and DEVILISH GREETINGS (Fantagraphics).
