The folks over at 'Today Is Art Day' are back with another great crowd funding project... and this go around, they are turning three Old Masters into charming action figures as they want to make art history more fun and accessible. Introducing Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer, and Rembrandt action figures... all of which are up HERE right now on Kickstarter and ready for your help! Although... not much help is needed as they have already reached their goal... but stretch goals still abound along with add on items, so there is no reason not to help them out!
Besides charming and adorable display items for the office or home, each figurine has unique features: Leonardo has glow-in-the-dark hair, beard and eyebrows allowing customers to spot the
Renaissance man in the dark. - Vermeer comes with a pair of 8MM pearl earrings referencing his Girl with a Pearl
Earring masterpiece. - Rembrandt has three sets of interchangeable eyebrows and mouths making it easy to
customize his facial expressions based on some of his famous self-portraits. Each action figure is made of PVC (plastic) and stands at 5’’ tall. They include famous masterpieces to be displayed on a mini-easel and 10 interesting facts on the packaging, giving an educational twist to the novelty of a cute figurine.
