Is UME Toys's "BigBot" Supposed to be Soundwave from the Transformers?!?

When you look at the pictured "BigBot", a uniquely made wooden droid with resin details, you might not see the inspiration point behind it being Soundwave from the animated 1984 television series Transformers, but I'm fairly certain that was the rough character that artist Rich "UME Toys" Page was creating. Mostly blue body? Check. Yellow eyes and grayish "mouth"? Check and check. Exposed metal coloration on forearms (but not hands) and lower legs (but not feet)? Check on both counts. Tape cassette chest plate? That's a big ol' check! Standing 13-inches tall and featuring 8 points of magnetic articulation this one-of-a-king creation will be available on Friday, June 9th, 2017 at 1pm Pacific time in the UME Toys's online shop for £55 (approx. $72).
