What is 3ART USVENTURE? Is 3A taking on SDCC?!?

Ashley Wood and 3A have just announced 3ART USVENTURE, which is described simply as "art • toys • sculpture" and will be taking place from July 19th through the 23rd in San Diego, California next year. And, if you're wondering, that's San Diego Comic-Con weekend. At almost a full year in advance, it seems extraordinarily early to announce an exhibit that the 3A brand will be doing at the convention or nearby, so… I'm guessing that, with growing resentment over the costs of SDCC for exhibitors, that 3A might've opted to set an alternative up, one that focuses on designer toys and other art sculptures. Time will tell if I'm right, but this definitely has gotten my attention.
