Las Vegas street artist
Juan Muniz's bunny-suited "Felipe" is an analogy for the human condition, as the artist states: "We often wear a second skin in daily life or at work and the 'skin' doesn’t reveal much of our true self." So what is Felipe's true self? The 9½-inches tall vinyl art toy from
3DRetro is about as apt a representation as there could be, placing the character in one of his typically ironic and humorous situations. With his head angled downwards, what is that at his feet?!? Never good to find the pin pulled on one them, right?!? This
San Diego Comic-Con debut "Pink" edition will be available throughout the con weekend at 3DRetro's Booth #5250 for $55 apiece, with Muniz himself on-hand to sign figures for fans on Friday from 2-3
PM and again on Saturday from 1-2
PM Pacific time.
