Luke Chueh × Mighty Jaxx’s “Batbear” Resin Bust Coming in June!

Batman remains, I think, the most accessable superhero to everyone. And thus it makes perfect sense that lowbrow contemporary artist Luke Chueh’s highly accessable bear character should be attired as the costumed hero… That's right, Bruce Wayne, step aside and make way for… “Batbear!” We've been teasing this piece for a while, but it now appears that production partner Mighty Jaxx are almost ready to release these 12-inch tall resin busts. In fact, they are scheduled to be released in June. In what will surely be a feeding frenzy of fans trying to satiate their need for this sculpture, we're told that members of the Mighty Jaxx newsletter will receive first dib on these pieces. And now that we've seen the more traditional blue cowl colored version, I have my fingers crossed for the modern black being spotted eventually…
