I've been tauting the work of horror-themed designer toy visionary Aaron Moreno of Retroband Toys for a while now, so it thrills me that he's continued to elevate his art toy game, self-producing his own original vinyl figure named “MEATS.” This 12-inch tall monstrocity wouldn't be able to exist without the help of Unbox Industries’s manufacturing plant, but this is completely Moreno’s baby… and it's companion creature, “GRISTLE,” is a collaboration with The Amazing Zectron! I was lucky enough to get a set of the debut versions, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on these stunningly sculpted, produced, and hand-painted pieces in the form of a video review! (PS: The upcoming “MEATS” edition I tease in the video has been further revealed since I recorded this, by the way…)
