Gary Ham’s “Quarter Pipe” Wood Mini Figure Prototype?!?

Gary Ham is a perenial favorite around these parts, so its thrilling to see him tease a new designer toy release! Pictured above, Ham is prototyping at least one 3-inch tall mini figure. Titled “Quarter Pipe,” this piece appears to be one half of the “Halfpipe Twins” piece (below) that Ham created for his 2013 Sentomentrees exhibition at Stranger Factory, though evolved to have the work ride the skateboard and wear a more stereotypical t-shirt. All indications point to “Quarter Pipe” being made in wood and even coming soon, so we expect further updates and revelations will be made in the near future!
