Devils Head Productions’s “Nordic Legion Alavaka” release is coming…

Toby "Devilboy" Dutkiewicz’s Devils Head Productions brand teases their newest 4-inch tall vinyl “Alavaka” release, “The Nordic Legion” edition. The only official word regarding this version is the flavor text that appeared with the above picture:

A cold wind blows across the barren Norwegian countryside. The cackle of crows echoes through skeletal trees. Pale figures don robes of glass as their eyes and mouths recede into shadow. No words are uttered as crimson letters are scribed across the oath of the damned. We are six.

Based on the proclamation that “We are six,” it seems safe to assume that this version will be limited to a mere six pieces available and the pictured looks to be cast in clear soft vinyl with black & white highlight sprays slightly obscuring a resin skeletal structure underneath. Yes, I suspect that this will be a “guts insert” style release of the “Alavaka,” which I couldn't be happier about! But we'll have to keep an eye on the Devils Head Productions's online shop to see if I'm right…
