James Groman × InstincToy’s “King Korpse” Announced!

At last month's Taipei Toy Festival, fantastic designer toy producers InstincToy unveiled a new project’s prototype at their booth #A80: “King Korpse!” Created and sculpted by James Groman, as a sequel to his insanely popular “Rotten Rexx,” this similarly sized undead interpretation of King Kong looks to be a true beauty! And to make sure InstincToy’s own design aesthetic is represented, the rib cage is removable to reveal that LIQUID Erosion — the company’s reoccuring character — is attached to the massive gorilla’s heart.
The original sculpt by Groman was 3D scanned by InstincToy, in order to easily prepare the piece for production in soft vinyl. While the finished sculpt has not been revealed yet, the molding has begun and prototype production is underway as of last week! Set to stand roughly 12-inches tall, expect to see a proper teaser of this fantastic work prior to its availability in 2016!
