VIDEO REVIEW: WuzOne × Kidrobot’s “No Strings On Me” 8-inch Dunny!

WuzOne's pristine paint application is mimicked perfectly for his first production piece, “No Strings On Me,” an 8-inch Dunny being released by Kidrobot. Thanks to the generosity of KR, we’ve been given the chance to hold in our hands this upcoming San Diego Comic-Con exclusive release.

Inspired by the classic Pinocchio design, this depiction of the “very symbolic character,” according to WuzOne, explores how “since childhood we are taught that lying is wrong, but when we grow [up] the line between lies and truth becomes increasingly blurred.” And, of course, he also “always liked the mixture of colors of the character.” As filtered through his artistic eye, we certainly appreciate them as well!

“No Strings On Me” will be available at Kidrobot’s SDCC Booth #5645 for $60 apiece, beginning on Thursday, July 9th. For those unable to attend the convention, Kidrobot is generously extending a tiny portion of their SDCC Booth to both Kidrobot San Francisco and Kidrobot Las Vegas stores, allowing them to share a very limited quantity of their San Diego Comic-Con exclusives. This includes copies of “Not Strings On Me,” which will be available beginning Thursday, July 9th at both locations.
