Ashley Wood’s photo recap of
threeA’s
San Diego Comic-Con booth was the newest member of the 1/12th scale collectible figure from the pages of
Judge Dredd: “Judge Fear,” member of the Dark Judges! Officially licensed from the classic British comic anthology
2000AD, “Judge Fear” symbolizes the horrors of war, wearing a black great helmet accented with large, bat-like wings as well as a heavy black cape with large, bear trap shoulder pauldrons. They've even captured his belt properly, down to the shrunken head belt buckle, and he appears to come packed with proper accessories: miniature bear traps, which he is known to throw at his enemies in order to immobilize them, and an enormous padlock, which he uses to secure his victims' potential exit routes. Standing roughly 6⅗-inches tall, we can’t wait to see how 3A will represent the horrid visage under the faceplate, which “Judge Fear” uses to frighten his victims to death with… the two times we’ve seen his face in the comics, it has been different each time.
