REVEAL: Luke Chueh's "Boba Drinking Boba" sculpture… or designer toy prototype?!?

I'm told that if you live on the West Coast, the previously seen "Boba Drinking Boba" design makes perfect parody sense to you, as it is Boba Fett from Star Wars drinking what you call a Bōbà Milk Tea, or Boba for short. Now, for the rest of the world: Boba Fett is drinking a Bubble Tea (sometimes called a Pearl Milk Tea or Pearl Tea)… not quite as funny, but still damned cute! Either way, artist Luke Chueh — as we previously announced — has enlisted the talented Gabriel Dagunton Dans to bring "Boba Drinking Boba" to sculptural life. And, from what we can see, it is brilliant looking! Is this a one-off piece for some project Chueh is working on or is this a painted prototype from which a production run is forthcoming? Only time will tell, as Chueh is being tight lipped on the matter!
