DuBoseArt × Blurble's "Astro Boy Sparrow" micro edition in honor of the classic Manga & Anime!

Astro Boy started out as a popular manga series by Osamu Tezuka but its legacy is that, when adapted for TV, it essentially wrote the guide for what anime would be. Telling the tale of super-powered robot — the titular Astro Boy — in a future where robots and humans co-exist, our main character regularly strives to make the world better, by stopping bigoted humans who hate robots, defective robots who've gone berserk, or even alien invaders bent on conquest! But what does all this have to do with Designer Toys? The newest member of the DuBoseArt team — Scott x3 — cast and painted the above pictured Astro Boy-inspired rendition of Blurble's "Sparrow" resin figure. Limited to an edition of only 5 copies worldwide — only 4 of which will be for sale — these magnificent works will be unleashed today (Friday, March 7th, 2014) at an unspecified time in the DuBoseArt online shop.
