Stranger Factory's "Bewitching II" with Jason Limon, Andrew Bell, Ferg & more!
All was right with the World as the clock struck thirteen o'clock, the flickering light of nearby Jack o' Lantern illuminating your mysterious invitation to Bewitching II… Yes, it is time for the second annual Halloween themed group show at Stranger Factory. The dark, macabre, and downright strange typically play rather sizable roles in the artwork of curators Kathie Olivas & Brandt Peters, so it's little wonder that they'd invite over two dozen local, national and international artists — including their fellow Circus Posterus collective members — "to find inspiration in the history of Halloween, including costuming and merchandise from a past long gone to the symbolism and icons of this fantastic hallowed holiday – black cats to witches, to the walking dead and pumpkin kings…"
The "Bewitching II" group show opens on Friday, October 5th with a reception from 6-9PM and the exhibition will be on display throughout the month at Stranger Factory, 109 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
Artists participating in the show include: Jason Limon, Joel Nakamura, Andrew Bell, Ragnar, Gris Grimly (art pictured at top), Chris Ryniak, Ferg, Sean Mahan, Shigeta Tanaka, Amanda Louise Spayd, and many more! On exhibit concurrent to "Bewitching II" is Gary Ham's "Dead Wood" solo exhibit, which includes the release of an exclusive Wooper Looper colorway.
