Plastic City is the newest brand to hit the designer toy scene and they are excited to be a part of this growing world of art and toys. With a combined 15 years in the designer toy world they hope to help make pieces that reflect not only the art of the toy but the artist's intention for the design. They carefully picked the four artists that will represent their initial releases to showcase the wide variety within the designer toy world... with designs from
Tristan Eaton, Jermaine Rogers, MCA, and
Josh Taylor they plan on really bringing the art back into the art toy. They plan on releasing the first figures at SDCC in July and hope to have a full line up for the rest of 2011, with big things coming in 2012!
