Lou Pimentel's Brooklyn Headz @ SDCC 09
Lou Pimentel sent over some info, and a better picture of his upcoming SDCC 09 release. Lou says that the idea behind these custom "Brooklyn Headz" came to him while he was working on his Kokeshi figure for the show at the Japanese American National Museum. He says that he really enjoyed working on the head, and thought it looked cool on its own, so he wanted to create a series of just crazy funky faces. Each one of these is hand painted with oil, and the platform is a 2" diameter wooden ball, also each custom will have a hand drawn sticker on the front of its box. These are going to sell for $40 each at the Toyqube booth #4839. Lou will also have some stickers of his upcoming figure Cranston Fellows Jr. which will be $1 a piece!
