"HERD" CUSTOM SHOW by ITEM

I just ran across this on the KR forum, and from the looks of it, it seems like it is totally gonna rock! Adriean aka item has developed and crafted many elements for this custom show based on Star Wars icons like AT-AT's and Speeders as well as other well known pieces from the Star Wars galaxy.

Here is the info from Adriean:

The show is called 'HERD' and will consist of 12 'rebooted' AT-AT's (both vintage and re-issued models). I'll also include other elements like wall mounted light boxes, pink speeders above and a few other nuggets. The show will be ready for early '09. I'm just waiting on the gallery here in Edmonton on my exact dates. From there i'm hoping to take it to Toronto and Chicago.

It's not a straight-up custom show as it's being treated as my first official solo exhibit. I'm normally doing group shows with my furniture design stuff. So this is a whole new avenue for me as i've pretty well got tired of designing tables and chairs for other people.

I'll release new pics in the weeks to come, but I have nothing 'official' other than that sneak peak.
